7th Class, Tuesday
June 28th, 8AM
Meet at the Ladies Pavilion which is on the north
end of The Lake in Central Park. The Ladies Pavilion
is the name of the gazebo which is near a rock
outcropping known as the Hernshead.
How to get there: when you walk along the west
end of the lake from the southern end (near 72nd
Street and Strawberry Fields) you'll see a gazebo
looking east with a beautiful view of Bow Bridge.
Continue walking north almost toward the end of the
lake and you'll see another gazebo. Here you'll see
an outcropping rock on a peninsula and probably people
gathered there. Continue up a bit and you'll find
a trail that leads to the Ladies Pavilion. Paint
around the pavilion rather than underneath.
